Status in terms of conformity with the Act
The Museum website remains in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 regulating accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, with the exception of the incompatibilities described below.
Incompatibilities: Some of the multimedia included in the service are not accessible (the lack of appropriate alternative texts). MNWr makes every effort in order that the abovementioned multimedia are described using alternative description, i.e. techniques availing to the users of screen reading programs the information about the non-textual elements of the website.
Date of the declaration and the method of evaluating digital accessibility
The declaration was prepared based on the audit of the website in collaboration with the System Contractor. The audit includes the assessment by the external entity Utilitia Sp. z o.o. 27.10 - 03.11.2023

Information regarding the procedure
Everybody has the right to demand the availability of access to a website, mobile application, or any of the elements thereof. One can also request availing information in an alternative form, such as reading out a document unaccessible digitally, describing the content of a film with no audio-description provided, etc. The application should contain the details of the person making the request, an indication of the website and/or application in question, and the preferred way of contacting them. If the requesting party reports the need to obtain information in an alternative form, such a form should also be indicated. The public entity should meet the request without an undue delay, and not later than seven days of receiving it. Should such a deadline prove unfeasible, the entity in question must supply without undue delay information as to when this request can be satisfied, with the proviso that the length of the time will not exceed two months. In the situation when ensuring accessibility is not possible, the public entity can suggest an alternative way of accessing the information. In the case of the public entity refusing to provide accessibility or an alternative access to information, a complaint regarding such a conduct can be made. Should any of the available possibilities fail, the complaint can be also delivered to the Ombudsman (Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich).
